Welcome to Misty Moments Photography!

I am: a wife. mother. sister. daughter. friend. follower of Jesus. happy. lover of football and the Vikings. master of the keurig. 

Using one word, I'd describe my style of photography as: JOYFUL. (Bright/colorful/happy!)
But the second word I'd use? YOU. My ultimate purpose is to capture the essence of those I photograph, so that when someone looks at a photograph, they see the soul of the subject, the emotion of the moment, the very best qualities in that person they are looking at! I'm there to tell your story, not just take a picture.

Photography has been a passion all my life, but I kept myself busy with other things, including marrying a wonderful man 21 years ago and raising two beautiful children, ages 16 and 12. Although I love all kinds of photography, I especially love capturing the beauty in PEOPLE that God has given~true beauty. My desire is to capture you, your family, your children, at this moment in life~ as YOU are. Most of my shooting involves chasing around the kiddos, crawling on my belly, or clicking away from afar as you look into your loved one's eyes. I strive to capture those real moments...

I also use my business as an outreach in a variety of ways. Especially dear to my heart are foster and adopted children, as I was adopted at the age of 6. I love to tell the stories of these precious children.
